DIARC® Miclub

 

This coating has been developed for components operating with lubricants. It can efficiently

reduce friction even under boundary lubricated conditions. The performance of DIARC®

Miclub is based on the hydrophilic surface generated by ta-C microstructure, that together

with polar additives in the lubricant will create super-low friction, a phenomenon called

superlubricity.

 

Being both hard and durable, DIARC® Miclub gives improved performance and reliability in

engine and hydraulic components, bearings, guideways and mechanical seals. It improves

the service life, reliability and efficiency of machines and components, and also reduces

energy consumption.

 

This low friction coating is suitable for steel, cemented carbide and ceramic materials

lubricated with oil or water.
